Some years ago I went to Bergamo Italy for work, and I was inside a factory all day— I only got out to to sight see at night. I rented a bicycle and roamed every night for hours, and found my way into the Bergamo Cathedral, which uses this pattern on it’s floors. I loved the pattern, so I stole it from them.
The Hawbuck Lean™ International H09 Wallet. This pattern was originally developed for the Swiss Franc and larger denomination Canadian bills (all Canadian bills will fit in the H01, but it’s a tight fit). It turns out that this size will accommodate many, but not all, bills you’re likely to encounter around the world. Will fit 3-5 cards on each side. Made with Dyneema® Composite Fabric Hybrid. Material made in Arizona. Thread made in Germany. Wallet made in USA.
Fits moderately wide bills, £20, £50, €50, €100 and €200 notes are slightly too tall to fit.
If you do not carry cash frequently, you’ll probably prefer the Hawbuck Lean H01 wallet, since the H01 Lean wallet gets a nice structure from the cards it contains. In the H09 Lean International wallet, the banknote pocket extends 1 cm beyond the credit card pocket.

I've had my hawbuck for over two years now. It has held up very well under daily use in domestic and work environments, along with my all-weather road and mountain biking, skiing and snowshoeing activities.
The stitching and fabric have not suffered any failures, and the fabric wears well over time. The dimensions and particularly the thickness of this wallet are what I've been seeking for some time and have only found here at hawbuck, with a thin wallet that holds the few cards/insurance slips and fewer bills that need to carry with me.
After seeing mine, my wife bought one and feels similarly happy with the function and form of her wallet. The sale was simple, the service personal and personable. I'll be dealing with hawbuck in the future: kudos for the good ideas, designs and manufacturing. I don't hand out 5-star reviews - they have to be earned, and hawbuck has done so for me and mine.
