A NOTE ABOUT FULFILLMENT
Hawbuck isn't a full time gig, I work on Hawbuck nights (not every night) and weekends. To work more efficiently, I generally do sessions of packing orders and sessions of sewing, or some other part of it all. So, depending on when your order comes in I may pack and ship your order same day, or if I just shipped a batch, several days or a week later. Thank you for your patience with my sears-catalog speed.
WARRANTY
My wallets are guaranteed against manufacturing or material defect. Please note that DCF will have some cosmetic variations in the material. The folks at Cubic Tech, the makers of the material, use relatively hands on methods for constructing the laminate. They are more concerned with the performance of the material than its cosmetic uniformity.
If your wallet ever needs to be repaired or replaced, I bias towards repair to not waste the material. If repair isn’t feasible and a replacement product is not available, credit will be given for the original purchase price. Durability seems to average 2-4 years of use, though most people replace these not because they have failed, but because they become heavily worn / just don’t look as good. We know this is an ultralight material— and that these won’t last forever—- but I believe that you will be fully satisfied with the performance and the product. If you are not, please, contact me.
NOT COVERED
I do not warranty products damaged from normal wear and tear, alteration made by owner, misuse, accidents, bonfires, or damages caused by uses other than intended. However---my goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your wallet, and if you have a problems with it in anyway, or need a repair, please contact me.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you receive your wallet and decide to return it, please return it to me at your expense in unused condition within 45 days for a full refund. Please send returns to the address below.
A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING
If you choose the free shipping option, please be aware that I ship these First Class Letter Mail, which is not tracked. I ship these in heavy kraft paper envelopes, stamped— rather old fashioned—and there is no tracking number.
Tracking numbers are funny, because they provide a feeling of control but not much actual control.
First Class Letter is often quite quick, domestic shipments usually take under a week. But, First Class can occasionally be terribly slow. I’ve had shipments within the USA take up to 15 days. Shipments to Europe usually take around 10 days, while Asia, Australia and New Zealand can often take 20-30 days. The Travel Wallet H03 can take a bit longer, because I ship that in a padded envelope to protect the pen and that package goes through a slower USPS process.
If you are in the US, I’ve added a 2-day option. For my international customers, if you don’t want to wait on First Class mail, please contact me before ordering and I’ll find a faster option for you.
